I have a Samsung S10+, messages are from verizon to verizon. Coming to the interface, both Meet and Duo have a pretty clean UI and extremely easy to use. DELIVERED means the message been delivered go the recipient’s cell phone. The Meet has specific features like webinars and screen sharing whereas Duo can be a great app for hosting a virtual party with friends. SENT means the message has been submitted on the cellular network for immediate delivery. I've checked back hours later and even the next day and it still only says sent. Google Meet has an edge over Google Duo if you need an app for professional purposes. One message in a conversation will say delivered and the next will remain at sent. In most cases, however, if the status does not change to FAILED but remains as SENT, one can safely assume that the message was delivered to the cell phone. What do you like about Duo If still it get delivered please kindly try to locate the person and see if things are okay. For example, if the recipient has his/her cell phone off, the message will remain on the network (with status sent) until the recipient turns their cell phone on, or until the message expires which is normally after 72 hours. It could also mean that there is a delay in delivering the message to the cell phone. Sent Sent : This means the message is sent from your device to the Google servers. The networks do not guarantee delivery reports and they even sometimes turn them off or delay them during periods of network congestion. Sending : This means the message is not yet sent. If a message status remains as SENT, it means that the WinSMS gateway never received a delivery report from the network operator for that message. Why Would The Message Status Remain On SENT? SENT means the message has been submitted to the cellular network for immediate delivery.ĭELIVERED means the message was delivered to the recipient’s cell phone.
